Welcome to halcyonparty.org (the "Site"), operated by The Halcyon Party ("we", "us", or "our"). By using this site, you agree to follow these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree with any of them, feel free to close the tab — no hard feelings.

1. Content Ownership

Everything you see here — text, videos, graphics, logos, memes, and all that good stuff — belongs to The Halcyon Party unless otherwise credited. You’re welcome to share, repost, or quote our content with attribution for non-commercial purposes.
But if you’re trying to sell it, scrape it, or pass it off as your own? Don’t.

2. External Links

Our site links to third-party sites (e.g. YouTube, donation processors, social media). We’re not responsible for their content or behavior. Use them at your own discretion.

3. User Submissions

If you submit anything — through a form, quiz, comment box, or carrier pigeon — you grant us permission to use that content (excluding sensitive info) to improve our services or showcase community engagement. We’ll never share or publish your personal details without permission.

4. Email Signups

When you sign up for our newsletter or give us your email through a form, you agree to receive occasional communications from us. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we won’t be weird about it.

5. Donations

Donations made through our site are final and non-refundable, unless there’s a clear error (like duplicate charges). The Halcyon Party is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit; donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

You will receive a receipt via email after donating. We use third-party payment processors and never store your credit card information ourselves.

6. Prohibited Behavior

Don't use this site to:

Post spam or malicious content
Upload viruses or mess with the site’s functionality
Try to hack, clone, or reverse-engineer anything
Pretend to be us, or use our content to misrepresent what we stand for

We reserve the right to block or report anyone doing shady stuff.

7. Site Availability

We do our best to keep the site running smoothly. But outages, maintenance, or gremlins may occasionally interrupt access. We’re not liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from downtime.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the latest version here with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of the site means you agree to the latest version.
